Since 1979, Northumberland Child Development Centre has provided support for children with special needs and their families. Our services have evolved throughout the years to include programs that support the developmental needs of children from birth to full-time school age. NCDC also provides support for families throughout pregnancy and the pre-school years. There are no fees for any of our services. Programs are available for families living in Northumberland County with children from birth to full-time school age. Children’s services include Infant and Child Development programs, Physical, Occupational and Sensory Integration Therapies, Speech and Language program, Behaviour Management and Play Therapy program, and the Early Learning and Community Child Care program. Family programs include A Bright Place to Start parenting and pregnancy support programs, Milk for Moms program, and a variety of parent workshops. |
