What is Northumberland for Youth?
Northumberland for Youth is a support services program for young people under 30 in our community. The program provides a comfortable environment for youth living in need to access support services at no cost. Services include crisis intervention, counseling, tutoring, access to emergency food supplies, peer group support for young or expectant parents, and information and referrals to other services.

Northumberland for Youth is available for young people under the age of 30 who live in Northumberland County.
When did Northumberland for Youth begin?
The program began in September 2007, and continues to evolve as the needs of young people are identified.
Who is involved in the program?
A variety of committed partners are working hard with Northumberland for Youth. Northumberland Child Development Centre coordinates the program, and a wide range of education, health and social support service providers are delivering youth services, information and referrals on site at all of the program locations.
