In the News

Bright Starts is open to mothers, fathers, grandparents and caretakers living in Northumberland County with children from birth to full time school age.   Children are welcome as there is child care available.

Parents are welcome to bring a friend for support.

Bright Starts

(CAPC)

Bright Starts is a peer based support group for parents with children from 0 to 6 years of age.  Parents meet twice per month to discuss issues facing young parents today.  At each group parents and children share a nutritional meal while supporting one another to enhance the health and social development of their children.

There are four Bright Starts groups offered throughout the county.  There are locations in Campbellford, Cobourg, Colborne, and Port Hope.
