After your child is referred to play therapy, the Play Therapist will contact you to make an appointment to screen your child for eligibility for this service. |
The Play Therapist helps guide the child through this learning process and works with the family and other caregivers throughout the process. |
In play therapy, the child uses play to share and talk about how they are feeling. They are able to work out issues and learn new skills to help them cope. |
